HRO Helping Hand was founded in 2010. It seeks to support the under-resourced people of the city.

Helping Hands of Sheikhupura

H.R.O wanted to be the helping hand of the people of Sheikhupura and facilitate them by all means possible. The initiation of this project was marked by raising funds to donate medical equipment to the Civil Hospital of Sheikhupura. Later, the project was extended in several dimensions, including free medical camps, free medicines, and diagnostic tests for the needy and relief camps for the affected by natural calamities. When disasters like floods happened, H.R.O set up camps to help people with food, shelter, and rebuilding their homes. This project is based on extending hands toward the less privileged and pulling them to a level from which they can sustain themselves.

Feeding the Community in Crisis

During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, H.R.O stepped up to support those in need by delivering essential food supplies directly to their doorsetps. Our commitment to the community extended beyond healthcare, ensuring families had access to sustenance during challenging times.

Helping Hands Deliver Qurbani

HRO’s annual Qurbani drive is a testament to our generous donors’ immense trust in us. Every Eid-ul-Adha, we are privileged to share the joy and blessings of the occasion with hundreds of underprivileged and physically challenged residents of the city. Through doorstep delivery, we strive to ensure that every beneficiary feels the warmth and care of the community, transforming their Eid celebrations into a memorable experience.

CHRONIC DISEASES Awareness Camps

Each year, 1.5 million worldwide die from a disease leading to liver cancer. Helping Hands enhances physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being for you or a loved one. H.R.O educates on Hepatitis B and C, raising awareness through symptom education and free testing at our camps.

DISASTERS SUPPORT BY HELPING HANDS

In 2010, H.R.O provided flood victims in Pakistan with relief and medical support, thanks to generous help.

During the disease outbreak, the H.R.O team helped unemployed families by registering them for aid and providing food.

A successful safety campaign during COVID-19 raised awareness about Corona protection; H.R.O’s measures were well-received.

SHARE TIFFIN HELPING HANDS

In 2020, H.R.O. Lab supported the Iftar Program. By February 2021, we initiated the “Let’s Share Tiffins Program,” serving over 100 individuals with daily meals, even aiding those from other cities seeking jobs.

Why is it Important ?

H.R.O aims to assist Sheikhupura residents, especially the less privileged, in becoming self-sustainable by extending a helping hand and guiding them towards independence.
